LPEF for speedy redressal of demands

JAMMU, July 2: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) has stressed upon the authorities for speedy redressal of their outstanding demands like enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month.
The demands were discussed during a meeting of provincial committee of the Federation held here under the chairmanship of Kabla Singh, president, LPEF Kathua. In a resolution unanimously adopted in the meeting, the stress was laid upon raising medical allowance from Rs 300 to at least Rs 1000 on central pattern as the medicare expenses are rising sky high day by day.
The meeting also reiterated the demand for expediting the regularization of daily wage workers for which the process was set in motion by the previous Government. The stress was also laid upon allocation of adequate funds for the payment of salary to the employees working under centrally sponsored schemes like SSA, RMSA, RUSA, ICDS and employees appointed under New Pension Scheme (NPS).
