The recent cap on LPG cylinders has created chaos and confusion among consumers and LPG companies. The middle and lower class have to bear the brunt of this callous decision as they can not pay the higher cost for extra unsubsidised cylinders during these hard times.
Even nine cylinders per year are not sufficing for a large single family not to speak of six cylinders.
Further the axe of verification every year has broken the backs of the conscious and law abiding citizens, especially the citizens of senior age, who have to wait for hours together for verification. This ghost of verification haunts off and on such as pensioners verification, power load verification, mobile, ration card and now the LPG verification. If the administration smells a rat with some defaulters of certain norms, they should be brought to book but not all the consumers should be made scape goats and crushed unnecessarily.
It is also prayed the home delivery should be resumed at the earliest especially for senior citizens who are facing problems of ageing.
