LPG safety awareness camp held

JAMMU, Sept 20: Air Force Gas Agency “VAHNI” organised LPG safety awareness camp under the aegis of Air Force Station today.
The motto of the gas agency is ‘Maximum Customer Satisfaction’. The programme started by lighting of lamp by Mamta Patange, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local), Air Force Station Jammu followed by the inaugural speech by Air Commodore PE Patange, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu. The camp was attended by all the Sanginis of Air Force Station Jammu, and the customers from other sister services.
The camp was also attended by M K Sinha, Senior Area Manager, IOC, Jammu, AM Lone, Deputy Area Manager, IOC, Jammu and Neha Thapa, Field Officer IOC.
During the awareness programme, lectures were conducted on safety measures to be followed, while usage of LPG cylinder, precautions to be taken during any LPG emergencies, how to ensure maximum utilization of LPG cylinder.
A door to door LPG safety check was also conducted by personnel of Air Force Gas Agency along with IOC personnel.
The programme was conducted under the patronage of Wing Commander M Deori, Commanding Officer 172 SU, and was successfully conducted by Squadron Leader Rajneesh Thota, Officer Incharge Air Force Gas Agency, JWO AK Sarkar, Manager Air Force Gas Agency and Sgt Lakshya.
