NEW DELHI: The opening day of the Winter Session of Parliament today saw the Lok Sabha adjourned for the day after the House paid tributes to one sitting member and seven former members, who passed away during the inter-session.
As soon as the House assembled for the day, Speaker Meira Kumar read out obituary references and expressed deep grief over the loss of life in natural calamities, terrorist attacks and accidents that took place during the period. (AGENCIES)
