JAMMU, Apr 25: The meeting of All India Working and Executive Committee of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) which started, here yesterday, concluded today with celebration of Foundation Day of Laghu Udyog Bharati.
The Day was celebrated by remembering all the past presidents and general secretaries. Four past presidents present in the meeting were also honoured on the occasion.
Meanwhile, discussions and deliberations were held on in the challenges faced in increasing production, maintaining quality with cost cutting for various product groups. Topic of Skill Development for creating skilled force for the industry was discussed with a proposal to associate with National Skill Development Corporation/ NAPS in this regard. An expert on Data Science and IT who has developed website of Laghu Udyog Bharati and managing other Social Media channels gave a future view of expansion of such services and development of Apps for Laghu Udyog Bharati.
Additional Chief Secretary of J&K Atal Dulloo took a session on opportunities of investments in the field of Agriculture as J&K produces Apple, Walnut, Saffron, Honey and Trout Fish of which there is high demand not only in India but outside the country also. Another session on the new Industrial Policy of J&K was taken by Director General of Industries J&K Anoo Malhotra. She explained the Industrial Policy in detail outlining the benefits being offered to the investors which no other state in India is offering.
All India president of Laghu Udyog Bharati summed up two days proceedings and encouraged all the office bearers to work tirelessly for development of Laghu Udyog Bharati and service to the society.
Parveen Pargal (president, LUB J&K) proposed vote of thanks and urged upon the investors from all the states of Country to come and invest and be a part of progress of J&K. Other team members of LUB J&K present on the occasion were Rajinder Gupta (prabhari), Advocate Ishant Gupta and Mukul Mahajan, vice president, Aagam Jain, secretary, CA Pranav Gupta, treasurer, Ajay Pargal and Amogh Gupta.
