Lunatic man reunited with family after 2 years

REASI, June 22: Arnas Police reunited a lunatic man with family in Bihar after his separation for more than two years.
Reports said that during patrolling, a Police party of PP Dhansal, under Police Station Arnas, found one unknown man wandering here and there under suspicious circumstances. On this, the police party, led by SI Sunil Singh Manhas, IC PP Dhansal, brought the man to Police Post Dhansal and after putting in strenuous efforts, succeeded to retrieve information about name and residence of the latter. On repeated questioning, the man revealed his name as Ranjeet Choudary son of Murli of village Behngi in Bihar.
Thereafter, Police established contact with family of the man with the help of local police station in Bihar. The family member narrated that the man was missing from his residence for the last two years. They also narrated that he was mentally not well and had left the home without informing anyone.
Today, the family members reached Jammu by train and a Police team from PP Dhansal handed over Ranjeet Choudary to his family after completing all legal formalities. The father of Ranjeet Choudary and others got very much emotional after seeing their son after a long time and expressed gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir Police for reuniting their son with the family.
