Luthra calls for increased efforts in mass outreach by NC cadre

AKHNOOR, June 16: Bimla Luthra, State Vice President of the Women’s Wing and former MLA of the J&K National Conference, along with Satwant Kour Dogra, Provincial President of the Women’s Wing in Jammu, addressed a workers’ meeting in Akhnoor.
The meeting was organized by Kuldeep Kour, District President of Jammu Rural A Women’s Wing.
During her address, Bimla Luthra stated that the National Conference is the only party that has ensured equitable development and welfare for the people of J&K.
She expressed concern over the misgovernance in the region and emphasized that there is a lack of responsiveness to the grievances of the public.
Rising prices were identified as a major issue, and she criticized the BJP-led Government for its failure to contain price increases and provide employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth in J&K.
She also criticized the BJP for its inability to address the genuine concerns of the people and accused them of dividing the population along religious and regional lines. She called for unity among the people and encouraged them to become aware of the policies and programs of the BJP.
In order to strengthen the National Conference at the grassroot level, Luthra urged party workers to engage in extensive outreach in their respective areas and assist the public in resolving their grievances.
Speaking at the event, Provincial President of the Women’s Wing, Satwant Kour Dogra, highlighted the opportunities provided by the National Conference to women since its inception. She acknowledged the significant role played by Madr-e-Mehrban Begum Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah in promoting female literacy and empowerment.
Attendees at the meeting included Madan Lal, Block President of Akhnoor, Balwinder Kour, Neelam Rani, Jyoti Devi, Sajana, Babli, Amandeep Kour, Priya, Satya Devi, Jyoti Sharma, and others.
