Luthra for making women aware about their rights

JAMMU, June 11: NC State vice president of Women Wing and former MLA, Bimla Luthra has said that the present Government has failed to take any concrete step to lower the sufferings of women amid the present challenging economic conditions.
She was addressing a meeting at Peer Mitha here today and the meeting was organized by Sarooj Sharma of NC Women Wing.
On this occasion various women workers joined NC.
Luthra stressed on the need to make women fully aware about their rights and appropriate and adequate steps to empower them so that they may come forward to demand their rights.
She said that since the majority of women are home makers, they are the worst victims of sky rocketing prices, Property Tax and unprecedented inflation during BJP rule due to the wrong policies of the Government.
The NC leader said that public is suffering badly due to non-availability of basic amenities including water, power, roads, old age pension etc.
