JAMMU, June 10: President of Sainik Samaj Party (SSP) Colonel SS Pathania today nominated Mohd Altaf Shah as general secretary (organization) for Kashmir region.
Speaking on the occasion, Col Pathania said that this is the maiden foray of the Party in Kashmir and thanked Altaf Shah for shouldering such onerous and challenging appointment. Reposing his faith in Mohd Altaf, Pathania said that he is fully assured that under dynamic leadership of Mohd Altaf Shah, the Party will achieve the goals of expansion in Kashmir region.
Col Pathania said that competent, visionary and nationalist people must join politics and bring the changes required for strengthening the concept of good governance with zero tolerance for the corruption. The Sainik Samaj Party is fully committed in development of J&K and welfare/empowerment of our people. He urged people of the UT to come forward and use the platform of the Party to contest Parliament, Assembly, Urban Bodies and Panchayat elections.
Pertinently, Mohd Altaf Shah is a well known social activist and a seasoned politician, who always stood for welfare and well being of people of Ganderbal.
