JAMMU, Feb 14: BJP leader and JMC Councillor of Ward 41, Sanjay Kumar Baru along with Neelam Nargotra, Ward 40 Councillor and BJP Mandal president, Keshav Chopra here today started macadamization work at Sai Baba Lane in Tirath Nagar area of Ward 40.
Speaking on the occasion Baru said that grass root development has always been the core agenda of BJP. He said that under the leadership of PM Modi developments have reached every doorstep.
Neelam Nargotra said that macadamization work has been initiated which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 6 lakh with the help of JMC.
She said that drainage system in the area will be improved soon.
Keshav Chopra hailed the works done by the Councillors.
Yashpal Shivgotra, Arun Dubey, Munish Gupta, Paramjit Kour, Parveen Ghai, Abhishek Sharma, Atul Chopra, Anuj Soni, Rahul Nargotra, Sunil Chopra and others were also present on the occasion.
