Machail Yatra: Langer Committee highlights demands

UDHAMPUR, July 21: A meeting of Langer Committee was held under the supervision of Nek Ram Manhas, President Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha (SSSS) J&K of Machail Yatra Management here.
Nek Ram said that the annual Machail Yatra is going to start from July 25 and the Government should take serious note of the problems being faced by people operating Langars enroute Yatra for the welfare of devotees.
He raised serious concern over deplorable condition of road enroute Yatra. He asked district administration Kishtwar to provide mules for shifting of Langar material upto the Holy Shrine. He further appealed to the administration to make adequate arrangement of firewood and kerosene oil for preparing Langar for the visiting devotees.
The committee members appealed to the Government to take serious note of the aforesaid issues and provide support to the Langar committees in making this Yatra a grand success.
Langer Committee Members and Jammu District members were also present in the meeting.
