Machhedi still has no road connectivity: Aziz

KATHUA, Sept 10: The thick population of Machhedi area is uncovered with road network and people are forced to adopt traditional routes to reaches their destinations.
This was stated by former Minister Prem Sagar Aziz while addressing a series of public meetings in Machhedi area of Bani constituency today. He said that these areas are not so far connected with road links as a result they are facing many hardships. Despite crores of rupees announced for road development they san the facilities, he added.
The Ex Minister alleged that there is larger potential of tourism development in Machhedi area but Government did not pay attention to develop such beautiful area in tourist map and beautify these hilltops and lush green Valley to attract tourists which may help the local youth to get employment and also may connect with road links. He also highlighted the grievances of local people being faced by them for want of basic amenities.
