Madan Lal asks BSNL to come upto customers expectations

JAMMU, Dec 14: Madan Lal Sharma, Member Parliament  Jammu-Poonch Constituency, while addressing the Telecom Advisory Committee meeting at Bahu Plaza Jammu, has called upon the BSNL authorities to come up to the customers’ expectations and improve the services particularly mobile connectivity and enhance its reach to the uncovered areas.
GMTD BSNL A K Angural gave a brief note on various services offered by BSNL Jammu at the meeting where members raised questions, which were answered by the concerned BSNL authorities present on the occasion.
The MP stressed upon the need of installing towers in border villages so that people of border areas can also avail the benefit of mobile and internet services.  He asked the officers to improve BSNL mobile connectivity and said that the private Telecom players were offering better mobile connectivity.
He said that the BSNL mobile connectivity is in shambles particularly in district Poonch, Rajouri and border belts of Jammu and Samba and people are switching over to other options available in the market. He also stressed for providing good internet speed to the people as per their need.
GMTD BSNL assured the MP that the mobile signal issue will be dealt with properly.  Other members who attended the meeting included,  Manjeet Singh (Ex Minister,) senior Congress leader Shiv  Dev Singh ,  Vishal Chopra, Anil Chopra, Narinder Sharma, Darshan Raina, Namrata Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Jitender Singh and officers of BSNL.
