JAMMU, Jan 29: BJP national general secretary, incharge J&K, Ram Madhav held a meeting with party members at Katra today on return from holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji.
The BJP leaders with whom Madhav held meeting and discussed the party affairs included Pawan Khajuria, State general secretary, State secretary Arvind Gupta and other local leaders. The meeting was also attended by Minister of State for Finance and MLA Reasi, Ajay Nanda, party sources said.
During the meeting various issues pertaining to prevailing political situation in the State were discussed and State leaders gave a detailed feed back to him on the functioning of the party and coalition Government, sources said.
Madahv asked partymen to take the message of welfare schemes launched by Narendra Modi Government and State coalition to every nook and corner of the State and also apprise the people of the far reaching effect of demonetization on the national economy.
Earlier these leaders also accompanied Madhav to holy cave for darshan. Later the BJP leader returned to the Union Capital.
