Madhav Lal visits BBIA, advises entrepreneurs to take benefits of all MSME schemes

JAMMU, Dec 30: Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India along with officers of various departments of MSME and Government met with the office bearers of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) at its office here.
Annil Suri, president of BBIA presented the welcome address and highlighted various issues related to the industrial sector including Tool Room and Technological Centre to be started in Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex being the hub/centre of industrial activity in J&K for which the requisite land has already been identified by J&K SIDCO.
He also highlighted other demands including Infrastructure Development (ID) Scheme for Bari Brahmana industrial complex to be enhanced, national awards selection for J&K industries, preference to MSME sector in Government of India enterprises purchases, extension of incentives to service sector industries, etc.
Madhav Lal assured that if the Government sends confirmation of land availability earmarked for World Bank funded Technology Centre within one month, the same will be started in Jammu, which will definitely help in opening the opportunities for the training of the local youths in various trades and also upgrading the existing industries infrastructure.
He also advised the entrepreneurs to take benefits of all MSME schemes such as cluster development, common testing facilities and national awards etc.
