JAMMU, Apr 14: Maha Ganesh Asthapan Committee Brantal, Sirru, Pattan and Baramulla held a meeting here today.
Before the meeting, a two minute silence was observed to pay tribute to Late Girdhari Lal Pandita—founder member of the Committee.
On this occasion, a new body of the Asthapan was framed with Bhushan Lal Koul as president; Kiran Koul as treasurer; Rajesh Dhar, general secretary; Rajinder Kaul, social media incharge and Ravinder Pandita, Sohan Lal Bhat, Sunil Pandita, Rajoo Dhar, Maharaj Krishan Pandita and Satish Bhat as executive members.
Bhushan Lal Koul and Kiran Koul were unanimously nominated as another signatory instead of Late Girdhari Lal Pandita for Asthapan’s Bank Account.
The meeting also nominated P.L Pandita, Daya Krishan Koul, Harday Nath Bhat and Rattan Lal Dhar as advisors and decided to solemnise a Maha Yagya on Ganesh Chaturthi (May 21-22) at Durga Mandir, Durga Nagar, Sector-1, Jammu.
