JAMMU, Aug 24: A Maha Yagya was solemnized in connection with birth anniversary of Swami Kasha Bub Maharaj. The Yagya started yesterday evening at Sharda Mandir Complex Bantalab and culminated with Puranahuti this afternoon.
The devotees held Bhajan Kirtan throughout the night. After the Puranahuti the devotees were served with prashad. The devotees from different parts of Jammu participated in the Maha Yagya and paid obeisance to the saint. The function was organized by Swami Kasha Bub Ji Maharaj Trust. On the occasion chairman of the Trust highlighted the objectives of the Trust.
An award ceremony for the meritorious students was also held. Vote of thanks was proposed by general secretary of the Trust.
A handout issued by the Trust said that the Maha Yagya was also performed at Pune Maharashtra.
