JAMMU, Mar 31: BJP J&K In-charge of All Cells, Rakesh Mahajan here today convened a meeting of conveners and co-conveners of various Cells of the Party to take stock of their working at ground level.
The meeting discussed overall functioning of the Cells at ground level in general and the progress in collection and depositing of Samarpan Divas funds at the end of financial year.
Other significant issues deliberated at the meeting included constitution of State level teams in J&K besides discussing the role of conveners and co-conveners in ensuring that strategy for success of the Party in the elections be it Panchayati Raj, ULBs or even the Assembly elections, is followed with full enthusiasm in letter and spirit.
The meeting also focused on the performance at ground level in creating awareness among the people at grass roots level about schemes launched by PM Modi led Union Government for every section of the society.
Rakesh Mahajan while addressing the gathering dwelt upon the modus operandi adopted by the Party workers under the leadership of conveners and co-conveners in connecting to the people at ground.
He impressed upon all those present on the occasion to reach out to the people at their doorsteps and ensure that the benefit of schemes launched by PM reaches to all.
Rakesh Mahajan said that the volume of Samarpan Divas funds should be taken to optimum heights in the next financial year starting on 1st April 2023 as this fund is ultimately utilized for the public service and welfare of the common people.
He asked Party workers to remain prepared for PRI, ULB, Assembly and Parliamentary elections.
