JAMMU, Sept 30: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha is going to celebrate birth anniversary of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan with full fervour at Lala Hans Raj Park, Gurudwara Sunder Singh Road, on October 2.
Besides garlanding the statue of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, a Havan will also be performed on the occasion. This was informed by Vinod Gupta while talking to media persons, here today.
“Prominent Mahajan personalities have been invited in the said function and members of the entire Mahajan community are extended an open invitation for their participation,” he said and added that similar functions would be held at district and tehsil level with a stress to spread message of great social reformer Lala Hans Raj in upliftment of the Mahajan biradhri in particular.
