JAMMU, Apr 24: A meeting of office bearers of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha was held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Romesh Chander Gupta in which it was unanimously decided to release the financial assistance to the widows, students and other needy people in the community.
After this, a total of Rs. 3,22,500 was released in favour of 215 beneficiaries.
Sabha president urged the community members to come forward and donate generously for this noble cause so that the weaker section of the community gets benefitted.
Among others present in the meeting were Sanjay Mahajan, general secretary; Shiv Pratap Gupta, senior vice president; Surinder Gupta, Atul Gupta, Subash Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, vice president; Balbir Gupta, secretary and Dr. Mohan Lal Gupta, cashier.
