JAMMU, Jan 3: A meeting of the office bearers of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha was held today under the chairmanship of its president Romesh Chander Gupta for release of financial assistance to the needy people of the community.
In the meeting, it was unanimously decided to release the financial assistance amounting to Rs 325500 for the widows and needy people of the community. The amount was released in favour of 217 beneficiaries.
Sanjay Mahajan, General Secretary of the Sabha confirmed that one new beneficiary was added.
Romesh Chander Gupta urged the community members to come forward and donate generously for this noble cause so that the weaker sections of the community get benefited.
Among others present there, included Shiv Partap Gupta (Sr Vice President), Surinder Gupta, Atul Gupta, Subash Gupta, Dinesh Gupta (Vice President), Balbir Gupta (Secretary) & Dr Mohan Lal Gupta (Cashier).
