JAMMU, Apr 25: A Mahayagya was performed at Shri Reshipeer Dham, Sari Rakhwalla Jammu today in connection with celebration of Mahajayanti of Shri Reshipeer Ji Maharaj a renowned saint of Kashmir who was popularly known as Peer Pandit Padshah.
The Mahayagya was organized by Shri Reshipeer Trust, Sopore, Camp Office Jammu. A large number of devotees, holy saints including religious preachers, scholars and devotees from all walks of life participated in the Mahayagya.
The Mahayagya started yesterday evening and Puranahuti was performed this afternoon. The bhajan Kirtan was held for the whole night and religious scholars threw light on the preaching of the great saint. After Puranahuti the devotees were served with prashad.
