Mahan Gurmat Samagam at Jammu on May 21

JAMMU, May 18: Sri Guru Ramdass Langer Sewa Charitable Trust is organizing Mahan Gurmat Samagam on May 21.
Talking to media persons here, Ragi Jagtar Singh, organizer told that the Trust had organized Dharmik Prikhya-2016 (religious examination) on May 15 in different areas of Jammu province like R S Pura, Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib, Khour, Gadigarh, Gole Gujral, Nanak Nagar, Kunjwani, Vijaypur, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Udhampur etc.
Bhai Jagtar Singh said more than 1500 students from Class III to Class X participated in the religious competitive exam. The students were categorized in two groups. Group A (Class 3rd to 6th) and Group  b (Class 7th to 10). The results of these exams would be declared during the Mahan Gurmat Samagam to be held on May 21 at Government Middle School Satwari from 7 pm to 2 am next morning.
As per Bhai Jagtar Singh many Ragi Jathas, Parcharaks and religious personalities of national and international repute will be participating in the Samagam, prominent among them being Bhai Nirmal Singh (Padam Shree, Bhai Harcharan Singh Ji Khalsa, Hazuri Ragi Darbar Sahib Amritsar, Bhai Jaskaran Singh Ji Patiala Waley and Bhai Amandeep Singh Ji of Delhi.
Mr Singh said the toppers of the competitive exams will be awarded with cash prizes of three lakh during the live telecast of Gurmat Samagam on PTC Punjabi.
All present in the press conference appealed  the Sikh Sangat to participate in the Gurmat Samagam along with family members. Others present on the occasion were S Balvinder Singh,  Sukhdev Singh,  Manjeet Singh,  Davinder Singh,  Gursevak Singh, Harjit Singh, Sharanjit Singh, Charanjit Singh etc.
