JAMMU, June 14: Mahant Manjit Singh, Dera Nangali Saheb Poonch in presence of the Assistant Executive Engineer PWD, Vikram Billawaria and local Councillor Prof Youdhvir Singh inaugurated blacktopping work of road from Karan Bagh to Govt Girls High School Bhour Camp, here today.
The blacktopping work of the road was commenced by offering prayer by Mahant Sahib who prayed Almighty to shower blessing on the residents of area, so that the work is completed without any hindrance.
On this occasion, Councillor Prof. (Dr) Youdhvir Singh said that 900 meters blacktopping work worth Rs 26 lakhs is going to be performed with the wet-mix base of four inch thickness. He also said that apart from lane of Unique Public School and two lanes of Karan Bagh Colony are also going to be taken up for blacktopping and stated that the work is being executed by the Public Works Department.
The management committee members of the Gurudwara Singh Sabha Bhour and prominent citizen including Balbir Singh, Inder Singh, Balvinder Singh, Rasbir Singh, Charanjit Singh, Niranjan Singh, Mohinder Singh and Khem Raj Sharma were present during the event.
