JAMMU, June 25: Shri Mahant Mandir Purani Mandi Jammu, Maha Mandleshwar Rameshwar Dass Ji has demanded elaborate arrangements for the holy Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrims including Sadhus coming from different parts of country for the holy pilgrimage this year starting from June 28.
Mahant Ji, while talking to reporters along with Sadhus, today discussed various issues pertaining to holy Shri Amarnath Ji yatra 2024. The Maha Mandleshwar and Sadhus made a joint appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha who is also chairman of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB), authorities in UT administration and Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) representatives to ensure that Sadhus and pilgrims coming from different parts of the country and abroad should not feel any problem during the yatra and their yatra should be peaceful and hassle free.
They demanded that in the Base Camp of Sadhus and Saints at Ram Mandir Purani Mandi elaborate arrangements be made like that of water supply, electricity and security. Moreover the execution work on roads and lanes in various parts of city be completed before the yatra gets started so that the smooth plying of traffic does not get hampered and yatris don’t face any inconvenience. Moreover, near base camp, parking should not be allowed to avert any untoward incident, they demanded.
