JAMMU, May 5: Social reformer and president of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust Mahant Rohit Shastri and Professor Sunil Uppal (Principal, Government Degree College, RS Pura) have been nominated to the executive committee of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Jammu Region.
Shastri and Prof Uppal have been nominated as co-opted members of the Executive Committee by Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society, Regional Branch (Divisional Commissioner) Jammu taking into consideration their Philanthropic activities. Mahant Rohit Shastri is already a member of de-addiction center monitoring committee of J&K Government.
They have been nominated for a period of two years (2022-23 and 2023-24) in pursuance of Rule 31 of Indian Red Cross Constitution of J&K UT Branch.
