Mahant Rohit Shastri launches Sanskrit campaign

JAMMU, Sept 21: Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust started “Prati-Kantham Sanskritam Abhiyan” a Sanskrit camping here today which was inaugurated by President of the trust, Mahant Rohit Shastri.
Mahant Rohit Shastri said that this campaign has been started to promote Devvani Sanskrit. The Trust has also published a book, entitled “Saral Sanskrit Bodh” which will be distributed free of cost.
He said this language has to be taken to every home and if there is enough will-power, success will definitely be achieved. Pronunciation of most of the languages varies from region to region, but based on phonetics, the pronunciation of Devvani Sanskrit remains constant in every part of the world, regardless of the region.
Satish Kumar, Vice Principal of the school, said that the Trust is making good efforts to promote Devvani Sanskrit in the state. He said that we should try to teach Sanskrit language to children at home first, only then we can advise others to use this language.
The script of Sanskrit language is Devanagari. The sages chose this language for composing mantras because the pronunciation of words in this language was very effective in creating proper vibrations in the brain. The Vedas appeared in this language and the Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata and Puranas were also composed in Sanskrit only.
Trust member Ajay Sharma, teachers Anuradha Sharma, Monica, Sonika Mahajan, Neha Sharma, Meenu Chaudhary, Vani were also present.
