JAMMU, Apr 28: National secretary, Guru Ravidass Vishwa Mahapeeth, (GRVM), Balbir Ram Rattan, attended one-day meeting of its national office bearers, members of Working Committee at Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
This meeting held deliberations on the ongoing activities of the Mahapeeth across the country and unanimously resolved to undertake ” Sanatan Jodo-Bharat Jodo” campaign to strengthen the social bonding among different sections of Hindus.
Sharing the objective of this campaign, Balbir Ram Rattan, said that the Mahapeeth expressed deep concern over the prevailing situation in which the social evil of ‘Dharam Parivartan’ is weakening the bonds of Sanatan culture and posing threat to the unity among different sections of Hindus, particularly, poor, SCs and followers of Guru Ravidass.
Balbir Ram Rattan further mentioned that the Mahapeeth national president and former Minister, Suresh Rathore and national chief general secretary (Organisation), Suraj Bhan Kataria, officially launched ‘Sanatan Jodo-Bharat Jodo’ campaign in presence of the media at Press Club, Haridwar.
In context to the ongoing general elections in the country, Balbir informed that the Mahapeeth was of the view that the Government at the Centre, under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has done splended work to treat all sections equal in it’s programmes and policies under ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas’ line and sent a very clear message that every citizen, irrespective of caste, creed, colour and gender, is equal.
He said that the Mahapeeth also resoled to extend full support to the BJP and its allies in the 2024 elections of Lok Sabha and appealed the Ravidassia Samaj to support BJP, it’s allies, so that the country gets the same Government for more years and the mission of taking all together on board further continues to take more decisions to give fair deal to one and all.
He said that the Mahapeeth also appreciated the BJP Government under PM Modi for showering full respect and honour on Guru Ravidass.
Chief general secretary (Organisation), Suraj Bhan Kataria, said that some organisations which are working to lure the poor Hindus, the SCs and the followers of Guru Ravidass and involved in ‘Dharam Parivartan’, are posing threat to the peaceful and dignified existence of various communities in the country and their designs need to be exposed and defeated.
