JAMMU, Oct 24: For ever-lasting peace and well being of devotees of Maa Bhawani, a Maha Yagya and Vishal Bhandara were organized at Mandir Maa Vaishno Devi, Vikas Lane Talab Tillo on the culmination of Navratra festival with great religious fervour and gaiety.
The Akhand Jyoti of MaaVaishno Devi, which was lit on the first day of Navratra festival by disciple of Maa Bhagwati, Lucky Baba, also marked its culmination on the last day of Navratra festival with the holding of Maha Yagya in which devotees in hundreds including aged men and ladies took part and prayed for peace and well being of one and all.
The Puranahuti was followed by a grand religious feast (Bhandara) wherein the devotees partook Prasad and invoked the blessings of Goddess.
