JAMMU, Dec 13: Ganesh Prabandhak Committee of village Danow Bogund, Kulgam, Kashmir, organized a grand mahayagya at Swami Kumar Jee Geeta Satsang Aashram, Muthi.
Large number of devotees thronged the Aashram to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha–holy deity of the village.
Puran Ahoti of yagya was performed today, which was followed by community fest.
Swami Kumar Jee while speaking urged the devotees to follow the path shown by Lord Ganesha.
On the occasion, a booklet title “Sumran”, written by village member Manmohan Bhat was also released. In the book, the writer has depicted the pain and sufferings of Kashmiri Pandits after migration. He had also tried to put forth the way of life and other aspects of village Danow Bogund.
