JAMMU, June 8: The annual Mahayajnya of Jagadguru Bhagawaan Gopinathji was performed across the country and abroad today corresponding to lunar calendar date “Zyesht Zoon PachDoi” with utmost devotion, gaiety and fervour for the universal peace and brotherhood.
At Jammu, it was performed at BhagawaanGopinathji Ashram Udaiwala, Bohri. The Mahayajnya started yesterday evening and culminated with Puran-Aahuti this afternoon followed by Prasad Vitran. Thousands of devotees thronged the Ashram from early morning to pay obeisance to BhagawaanJi.
Elaborate arrangements were made by the Trust in advance for smooth and successful conduct of the annual Mahayajnya. Hundreds of devotees including young, old, men and women rendered self-less services at various counters viz. distribution of Prasad, shoe counter, fruit refreshment, lemon water etc. on this occasion. Hassle-free movement of devotees was ensured at the Ashram premises. Bhajan and Kirtan continued for the whole day in an atmosphere of bliss and ecstasy. The Samuhik evening Aarti marked the culmination of the function.
Despite extreme heat, it was gratifying to watch devotees participating in the activities in a spirit of true devotion to the Bhagawaanji. The function passed off peacefully.
The functions were performed at various other Ashrams at Kharyar, Srinagar, Kashmir, Pamposh Enclave, New Delhi, Vikaspuri, West Delhi, Pune, Bangaluru and Hyderabad. It was also performed at Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Chembur and Kandivilli Mumbai, Vaishali Ghaziabad and at various other Satsang Mandals spread across the country.
The Mahayajnya was simultaneously performed at the Ashrams at Kharyar-Srinagar, Kashmir, Greater Kailash-I, Pamposh Enclave, New Delhi, Hastsal Village, Vikaspuri, West Delhi, Nande Mahalunge Road, Pune, Maharashtra, Whitefield, Hosahalli, Bengaluru, Kukatpally, Hyderabad and at its various Satsang Mandals at Anand Mangal Hall, Charkop village, Kandivali (West) Mumbai, Bengal Association, Plot No. 12, Sector 5, besides Sboa School, Nerul, Navi Mumbai spread across the country. It was also performed in Chandigarh, Jalandhar and Vaishali, Ghaziabad.
Hundreds of devotees drawn from various parts of Kashmir Valley and Jammu thronged Bhagawaan Ji’s Kharyar, Habbakadal Ashram Srinagar to participate in the function. The Ashram premises were agog with festivities with devotees reciting hymns in praise of Bhagawaan Ji.
In connection with Mahayajnya of Bhagawaan Ji Pushparchana was performed by the Bhagawaan Ji’s devotees at Perth Australia also under the supervision of Dr Sushil Wattal a well known scholar. The Kashmiri Pandit community members across the Perth participated in the function and paid obeisance to the Bhagawaan Ji on the occasion.
Besides, reciting religious hymns in praise of Bhagawaan Ji Bhajan Kirtan and Satsang was also performed. The devotees were served Prashad after the culmination of function.
The Trust extended its gratitude to the Police, PDD, Municipality, UEED, Traffic Police and other authorities who rendered commendable services on this occasion, their co-ordinated effort ensured the smooth conduct of Mahayajnya, 2024.
