KISHTWAR, Sept 22: A function was organised at Ashiana Orphanage Boys Hostel here today which is run by Social Reforms & Charitable Organisation (SRCO).
During the function M/S Mahindra Finance donated kitchen items, quilt covers, school bags, bed sheets, heating pillars etc under the Corporate Responsibility Service (CRS).
Addressing the students Surinder Kumar, State Head (HR) of the company assured more support and assistance to orphanage in future also. He advised the children to pay more attention to their studies for a better future tomorrow.
Gurdeep Thakur, Divisional Manager of the company also addressed the children and wished them a prosperous future. He said SRCO running the orphanage is doing a great service to humanity.
In his address Sanjeev Parihar, president SRCO highlighted the role of his organization which is wedded to the cause of the people. He said these children need support and help so that they can’t lag behind in life tomorrow and become useful citizens of the nation.
He complimented to Mahindra Finance for this good will gesture and expressed the hope that they will provide such support in future too.
Others present included M L Thakur, Ravi Shanker, Kuldeep Sharma, Yash Pal Kotwal (Warden) and local team of M/S Mahindra Finance.
