Mahindra Navistrar sales in AP crosses 1000 mark

HYDERABAD, June 28: Mahindra Navistar Automotives Limited (MNAL), a part of the US 15.4 billion Mahindra Group today announced its 1000 truck sales in Andhra Pradesh which has contributed significantly to the recent roll out of its 5000th truck from its state-of-the-art plant at Chakan in Maharasthra.
Informing this to press here, Company’s Managing Director Nalin Mehtra said with the 1000 trucks sales in Andhra Pradesh, of which 500 had been sold in the last five months, MNAL has also achieved significant market share in the Multi-Axle Category during the Financial Year 2011-12 which is a milestone in a very short span of time.
He said the company has also been conferred the number one rank in TNS Truck Track 2012 in the LCV load and mini-bus segment and Joint No 1 position in the HCV Truck (MAV segment).
Mahindra Navistar, which had started the Journey two years ago with its first dealership opening here had so far established 6 dealerships in the state of the total 56 across the country, he said, adding Prominent transporters lime M/s Siri Tecon, M/s Sarna Transport and M/s Express Roadways were among the proud owners of the company’s trucks.
The MNAL Managing Director said the company today emerged as the new and viable alternative for the Indian trucking customers who have been experiencing status quo and inertia in a duopolistic market.
He also said ‘our pioneering customer benefits like four years unlimited mileage warranty and 48-hour-on-road assurance to exhibit confidence in our product quality and our agility in service has helped the company to be number one inn LCV trucks and buses and joint Number one in HCV multi-axle trucks.” (UNI)
