JAMMU, Jan 24: Chief Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control Department has informed that all the major canals i.e. Ranbir, New Partap and Kathua and their network will be closed from January 25.
All the concerned Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers have been directed to take up all the closure works including desilting and urgent repair/immediately and ensure completion well before the recharge of the canals.
