Maintain coordination to defeat ANEs: SSP Rlys tells GRP, RPF officers

JAMMU, June 26: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Railways, Mohan Lal Kaith, today directed the officers of the GRP, RPF, Army, and other intelligence agencies to maintain a close coordination with each other to defeat the evil designs of the Anti-National Elements (ANEs) during the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
Chairing a meeting of the officers in his office chamber here to review the security arrangements for the yatra, he sought suggestions from the participants about maintenance of security at the Jammu Tawi Railway Station and later directed them to work in synergy to ensure that the ANEs fail to create any kind of sabotage at the Railway Station.
The officers were directed to brief the personnel to compassionately deal with the yatris and render all kind of the help to them during the yatra period.
The SSP Railways further directed the officers to establish help desks for the yatris to facilitate them to reach the nearest Yatra Bhawan.
It was also decided that the stringent security measures are required to beef up the security domination at Railway Station Jammu during the yatra period.
The GRP and Railways officers were directed to intensify the patrolling at the Railway platform areas to ensure that nothing untoward happens during the yatra period.
