Maintain high level of responsiveness during Ramadan: Dr Mustafa Kamal

SRINAGAR, Mar 3: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal today urged the Government to alleviate the hardships faced by the people in the aftermath of heavy snowfall and rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued, Dr Kamal sought the support of party MLAs for their efforts in assisting the people during the recent heavy rainfall.
He also praised the Government for their preparations for the month of Ramadan and their actions to alleviate the difficulties faced by the people in the snow-covered areas of Kashmir and winter zones of Jammu division.
“The response to weather-related challenges has improved significantly compared to previous years, with the administration promptly reaching out to those affected by heavy precipitation to restore normalcy,” he said and urged the administration to maintain this level of responsiveness and ensure that surface connectivity, basic utilities and ration services are reinstated throughout Jammu and Kashmir.
