Maize rises on increased offtake

NEW DELHI, May 7:  Barring a rise in maize prices on pick up in demand from consuming industries, other grains held steady at the wholesale grains market today.
Traders said increased demand from consuming industries against restricted supplies mainly pushed up maize prices.
In the national capital, maize rose by Rs 25 to Rs 1,425-1,435 per quintal.
