Major breakthrough in fake certificate scandal

LEH, July 11: With the arrest of three accused persons, Leh Police has achieved major breakthrough in the fake certificate scandal.
Reports said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Leh, a case was registered in Police Station Leh on May 12, 2015 to the effect that some candidates with suspicious academic background appeared in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Leh for interview for the post of 4th Class.
During the course of investigation, Leh Police found some of the certificates as fake and arrested three accused persons, who with the criminal intentions, fraudulently and dishonestly used and produced forged documents as genuine before the selection board.
With the arrest of three accused persons, police has achieved major breakthrough into the scandal and involvement of more persons is likely to surface in the coming days as investigation into the case is still going on.
