DGP, Div Com, Secy rank officers shifted
* Several posts at senior level of police fall vacant

JAMMU, June 8: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today carried out major reshuffle of IAS and IPS officers of AGMUT cadre involving 13 such officers who have been posted out/in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
B Srinivasan, an IPS officer of 1990 batch of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, now AGMUT, presently posted as DGP Home Guards and Civil Defence will be new DGP of Puducherry. in place of Manoj Kumar Lal, who has been shifted to Delhi.
SSP Anantnag Ashish Kumar Mishra, an IPS officer of 2013 batch has been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir and posted in Delhi, Similarly, Sudhanshu Verma, SP Special Crime Wing Jammu, who is an IPS officer of 2015 batch, has also been shifted from J&K to Delhi.
SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma, an IPS officer of 2017 batch will move to Delhi from Jammu and Kashmir.
Shruti Arora, an IPS officer of 2018 batch has been transferred from Chandigarh and posted in the Union Territory of Ladakh while Anuj Kumar, an IPS officer of 2016 batch has been shifted from Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Additional DGP Security and Director SSG Jammu and Kashmir SD Singh Jamwal was only yesterday posted as Ladakh police chief replacing SS Khandaray who has been sent on deputation to the Border Security Force (BSF).
Few Days back, Additional DGP Coordination Danish Rana had proceeded on Central deputation. Charge of his post is being held by Additional DGP Headquarters MK Sinha.
Posts of DG Prisons and Managing Director Police Housing Corporation are also vacant and their additional charge is being held by DG Prosecutions Deepak Kumar.
With SD Singh shifting to Ladakh and Danish Rana on Central deputation, the posts of Additional DGP Security, Director SSG and Additional DGP Coordination are also vacant. With Srinivasan too moving out, the post of DGP Home Guards and Civil Defence will also fall vacant.
Sources said the vacant posts could lead to major reshuffle in the police administration shortly.
In the civil administration, Saugat Biswas, Divisional Commissioner Ladakh for last over four years, has been shifted from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh. He is an IAS officer of 2006 batch of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, now AGMUT.
Amit Sharma, IAS of 2012 batch and Secretary Mining has been shifted from Jammu and Kashmir to the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Sagar D Dattatray, an IAS officer of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, now AGMUT, will move from Jammu and Kashmir to Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
Michael M DSouza, an IAS officer of 2015 batch of AGMUT cadre has been shifted from Goa to Ladakh while Lakshay Singhal of 2019 batch will move from Ladakh to Delhi.
Saurabh Mishra, an IAS of 2015 batch has been shifted from Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu to J&K.
