KATHUA, May 23: A major tragedy was averted at District Session Courts, Kathua after fire fighters swiftly doused a blaze that broke out due to LPG cylinder blast in the canteen, here today.
As per reports the fire broke out in the canteen about 10 AM due to LPG cylinder blast in the canteen.
The inmates of the canteen informed the Fire Station and within a few minutes a fire tender reached the spot from Fire Service Station, Kathua. It controlled and completely doused the fire within minutes.
The canteen in the District Session Courts, Kathua is run by Pinki Devi wife of late Ravi Kumar resident of Kathua.
There was no loss of life, but exact damage of property due to fire is yet to be ascertained.
