Make minorities aware about welfare schemes: Balbir to partymen

JAMMU, Dec 24: Discussing various welfare schemes exclusively for the minorities as published in a booklet by Union Ministry of Minorities, BJP State spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, along with BJP Cells incharge, S. Varinderjeet Singh, stressed upon Minority Morcha, State president, Sadiq Khan and his colleagues to go for massive awareness of the same in the State so that people are benefitted.
During a meeting with the BJP Minority Morcha office bearers at party Headquarter, here, today, Balbir Ram Rattan told them that the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs has compiled all the schemes of Narendra Modi Government being launched for the socio-economic upliftment of the minorities and the same should be availed by the poor and needy among them.
Balbir further informed them that one of the prominent schemes is related to education with special emphasis on females. He said that the pre-matric scholarship for minorities, with 30% for females, free coaching for professional, technical and academic courses etc are aimed at providing facilities to study and prepare to face competitive exams so that the youth from amongst minorities too excel and achieve success in life.
BJP Cells State incharge, S. Varinderjeet Singh, on the occasion, said that it is for the first time that a Government at the Centre has treated all the communities equal and launched welfare schemes for each of them so that they are socially and economically empowered.
BJP Minority Morcha, State president, Sadiq Khan said that with each passing day more and more people from minorities are joining BJP as they want to strengthen this party after having realized it to be their real well-wisher.
Minority Morcha State general secretaries, Sheikh Bashir and Harpal Singh Bali, BJP Health & Medical Cell State in charge, Gurdiyal Singh Bali also attended this meeting.
