Make vaccination mandatory for all: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Apr 9: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, J&K unit has demanded that COVID-19 vaccination should be made compulsory for one and all irrespective of age barriers set by the Government.
Addressing a press conference here today, Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni expressed serious concern over the rapid increase in daily count of fresh positive cases of Coronavirus.
Appealing to the people of Jammu to strictly follow SOPs issued by the Government, Sahni said, we must ensure that we go out of homes only when it is necessary and in case we go anywhere outside home we must take all the necessary precautions including proper wearing of masks, using sanitizers besides maintaining the requisite social distancing.
He made a fervent appeal to the people who are eligible to get themselves vaccinated against the deadly Coronavirus.
The Shiv Sena leader appealed to the administration to act tough against those violating COVID-19 SOPs and claimed that many Shiv Sena leaders including him got COVID vaccination today.
Shiv Sena general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; senior vice president, Harsh Kumar Gupta and secretary, Balwant Singh were also present in the press conference.
