NEW DELHI: The Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani starrer ‘Malang’ has hit the screen across the globe.
The movie released in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday evening, and has gone on to become the highest collecting first-day opener in UAE in 2020. The Mohit Suri directorial opened at 9102 admits in theatres.
‘Street Dancer 3D’ opened with a footfall of 8158 admits with ‘Tanhaji’ trailing behind which opened at 7500 admits and ‘Jawani Jaaneman’ opened with 5654 tickets sold on their first day. All of these movies saw a morning opening release, whereas ‘Chhapaak’ which opened at 3100 admits and ‘Panga’ which opened at 2500 admits had an evening release.
‘Malang’ is produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Northern Lights Entertainment’s Jay Shewakramani.
