Malik demands 27 pc reservation for OBCs

JAMMU, Jan 1: Activist of OBC’s in J&K, Mohd. Latif Malik has demanded 27 per cent reservation for the OBCs of J&K.
He said that the Government has even changed the nomenclature of OBCs in J&K from OBCs to OSCs just to deprive the OBCs of their legitimate rights.
Malik said that the Government should provide reservation to OBCs of J&K by implementing 27 per cent reservation in employments and promotions.
He also demanded restoration of scholarships to OBC students and also urged upon the Government for induction of one OBC member in SEBC Commission.
Malik hailed the decision of PM Modi led Government to provide reservation to OBCs in Panchayati Raj and Urban Local Bodies and claimed that this will open the path of development for OBCs in J&K.
