Malik elected KAS Officers Association President

Jammu, Apr 16 : M H Malik has been elected as president Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services Officers Association in an election held on April 15 result of which formally announced today.
Kifayat Hussain Rizvi KAS, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, who was Returning Officer for the elections formally, announced the new team of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services Officers Association.
M H Malik has been elected as president, G S Chib as vice president, G N Itoo General Secretary, Ravi Sharma as treasurer and Suraj P Rukwal as Publicity secretary. While the counselors included Rajinder Singh Tara, Babila Rakwal, Angrez Singh Rana, Arvind Kotwal, Rubeena Kounsar, T. K. Bhat, Tariq Hussain Ganai, Rakesh Sarangal, Dr B.A Lone, Showkat Hussain Kazmi
Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected President M H Malik called upon the members to work united for the betterment of the association in general and people in particular.
“The Administrative Services officers are important entity of Govt and political system and they too have the responsibility to work for the people and I am hopeful that the officers will make every effort to render the best services to the people of the state and will ensure that proper work culture is inculcated among the officers”, he said.
He, however announced that the association will soon launch its own website and will organize regular interaction of the members.
While speaking on the occasion, Kifayat Hussain Rizwi expressed the hope that the newly elected team will work for the betterment of the people of the State. He said, “Administrative officers have large role to play in Governmental setup and I hope the newly elected team will play the same role with dedication and commitment”.
Earlier, an impressive function was organized in the Civil Secretariat, today, to felicitate the newly elected office bearers and counsellors for the Executive Council of Jammu and Kashmir.
