Malpractices by certain CBSE schools

Sir,
Certain private schools have adopted the malpractice of partonizing students to participate in sports activities promising them that academically grace marks will be given to them. In today’s time of competition when students devote their time and energy firstly in practicing and then participation to other states, somewhere their studies do suffer. Although the trophies that are won by these students are highlighted in every possible way and are placed at a focal point in school premises, the students who have won these are not given their due importance. In a  few cases it has been observed that no grace marks are provided even to those bright students who want to have their subject of choice but are lacking few  numbers. Had they not participated in the sports and not believed in the hollow promises of school authorities for grace marks they would have certainly scored much higher marks in  academics.
School authorities must fore warn students if they don’t intend to provide grace marks.
On one hand we talk of development of balanced personality and emphasis on extra co- curricular activities and on the otherside our intentions are to hoodwink the innocent students. This matter needs to be highlighted at the highest level.
Yours etc….
