JAMMU, Oct 29: Government Railway Police (GRP), Jammu arrested a person and recovered 10 kilograms cannabis (ganja) from his possession.
According to SSP Railways, Rajinder Gupta, a team from police station GRP Jammu during checking near FCI godown, arrested a person along with 10 kilograms cannabis (ganja).
The accused has been identified as Chhotu Sah, son of Suresh Sah, a resident of Ram Burn, District Vaishali, Bihar.
A case under FIR Number 20/16 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at police station GRP Jammu and investigation started.
It is pertinent to mention that this is third such recovery by Railway Police Jammu because of its enhanced checking and frisking.
