JAMMU, Aug 28: RS Pura Police arrested a man after his wife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in Dablehar area of tehsil Suchetgarh.
As per police sources, a woman identified as Shanti Devi, wife of Labba Ram, a resident of Dablehar tehsil Suchetgarh allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself.
On getting information, a team from Police Station RS Pura rushed to the spot and took the body into the custody.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Meanwhile, police arrested the husband of the deceased in abetment to suicide case.
A case under FIR Number 179/2021 under Sections 306 IPC has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
