RAMBAN, July 30: A man has been arrested for attacking his son with sharp edged weapon in Kunfer area, falling under the jurisdiction of Chanderkote police station.
As per police sources, a man identified as Mohammad Yousaf Shan of Kunfer attacked his son Ayaz Ahmed with sharp edged weapon owing to some old dispute over land.
The victim received injuries in his neck and was shifted to District Hospital Ramban, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for advanced treatment.
A case under FIR Number 35/17 under Section 307 RPC has been registered at Chanderkote police station and arrested the culprit.
