JAMMU, Aug 7: A man has been arrested for attacking police constable, police sources said.
The arrested person has been identified as Vinod Kumar, son of Bishan Dass of Panjgrain, Nagrota.
On the complaint of Constable Sandeep Kumar, a case under FIR Number 311/2020 under section 353 IPC has been registered at Police Station Nagrota against the arrested person.
A scooty has also been seized in this case.
Sources informed that the constable had gone to arrest Vinod Kumar in a case when the latter attacked him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
